An explanation of this symbol
The lower three koru in this symbol represent whānau, hapū, and iwi, as well as man, woman, and child in loving embrace nurturing each other through education. They extend to the top three koru which represent the three baskets of knowledge in the uppermost realm of Te Rangi Tūhāhā.
