Activity 2: Create a picture or design

This activity may be used independently, or as a class activity on a range of digital devices such as an interactive whiteboard, laptop, i-pad, etc.

Purpose

The purpose of this activity is to recognise the numbers from 1 to 100, visualise patterns in numbers as they create a design by selecting the given numbers.

Activities

Using the hundreds board, students could be asked to:

  1. Select the numbers in a given set and describe the design or picture.
